While uploading a file using Media Manager you might get the message “This file type is not supported”. The reason is obvious, that the file not supported. Below are the steps to make the file type supported :

1. From the Administrator, click “Site” -> “Global Configuration”
2. Click the “System” tab
3. In the “Media Settings” section, you will find “Legal Extensions (File Types)”
4. Add your extension in lowercase and in uppercase and click “Save”
5. Go back to Media Manager and try to upload your file now.
